The agents on the on-premises machines that Azure AD Connect Health monitors periodically upload data to the Azure AD Connect Health Service. If the service does not receive data from an agent, the information the portal presents will be stale. To highlight the issue, the service will raise the Health service data is not up to date alert. This alert is generated when the service has not received complete data in the past two hours.
The service gets the data from agents that are running on the on-premises machines, depending on the service type. The following table lists the agents that run on the machine, what they do, and the data types that the service generates. In some cases, there are multiple services involved in the process, so any of them could be the culprit.

The Alert Details blade shows when the alert occurred and was last detected. A background process that runs every two hours generates and re-evaluates the alert. In the following example, the initial alert occurred on 03/10 at 9:59 AM. The alert still existed on 03/12 at 10:00 AM when the alert was evaluated again. The blade also details the time the Health Service last received a particular data type.
But these electronic gizmos sometimes stop working, either because something is blocking them or because of a more profound mechanical error. So while we have made immense technological advancements in recent decades, the truth remains that even automated rolling windows can sometimes run into issues that prevent them from functioning correctly.
Car windows are deceivingly complex, especially if they are electrical versions instead of vintage, hand-rolled designs. There are a multitude of reasons why your car window might not roll up, including:
Check The Safety Locks: For starters, double-check that the child safety locks aren't engaged in your vehicle. Sometimes, it's easy to forget that these are the problem if you've had a busy day or perhaps engaged the button by accident. Once you verify that this lock is not on, you can check it off your list of potential culprits.
Try Restarting Your Car: If none of the above-referenced quick fixes seem to be the issue, consider simply turning your car on and off again. Sometimes, this resets the internal computers and electronics in your vehicle and will resolve any minor problems that are preventing your car windows from rolling up properly.
Using your palm (to avoid injury or damage), take your hand and strike the center of your car door on the outside. Never use tools in place of your hand, as this can cause damage to the paint and body of your vehicle.
Once open, you can get a closer look at the motor mechanics and see if something is blocking the motor gears. If there is no issue with the motor, you may just need to realign the window on the track manually. After you have addressed the issue, simply secure the door panel back in place with the applicable screws.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has clarified the definitions of "up to date" and "not up to date" for the COVID-19 vaccine and booster mandates. The new piece is the change in terminology from "boosted" to "up to date."
In this, the summer of our discontent, many college presidents are breathing a sigh of relief that they made it through a politically fraught spring without their campuses erupting. Nobody wants to be the next Middlebury or Claremont McKenna, where demonstrations disrupted controversial speakers.
The rituals of respect shown inside and outside the courtroom come from this training. Those rituals are so powerful that they can trump even the deepest divides. As Kenneth Mack recounts in his book Representing the Race: The Creation of the Civil Rights Lawyer, Thurgood Marshall was able to do things in court that a black man could never do in any other forum, like subjecting a white woman to cross-examination. Marshall was able to practice even in small, segregated towns in rural Maryland during the early days of the civil rights movement. The reason was simple: despite their bigotry, members of the Maryland bar had decided to treat Marshall as a lawyer, first and foremost.

In 1915, Albert Einstein figured out the answer when he published his theory of general relativity. The reason gravity pulls you toward the ground is that all objects with mass, like our Earth, actually bend and curve the fabric of the universe, called spacetime. That curvature is what you feel as gravity.
Since your brain usually thinks about the world in three dimensions, it is really hard to think about the four dimensions of spacetime as a single idea. So to make it easier to visualize, imagine the surface of a trampoline. If there is nothing on it, it is flat. But if you stand on the trampoline, it stretches around your feet and creates a valley with you at the center. If there is a ball on the trampoline, it would roll toward your feet.
Medicare is our country's health insurance program for people age 65 or older. Certain people younger than age 65 can qualify for Medicare too, including those with disabilities and those who have permanent kidney failure.
The program helps with the cost of health care, but it does not cover all medical expenses or the cost of most long-term care. You have choices for how you get Medicare coverage. If you choose to have Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) coverage, you can buy a Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy from a private insurance company.
Most people age 65 or older are eligible for free Medicare Part A (hospital insurance) if they have worked and paid Medicare taxes long enough. You can sign up for Medicare Part B (medical insurance) by paying a monthly premium. Some beneficiaries with higher incomes will pay a higher monthly Part B premium. To learn more, read Medicare Premiums: Rules For Higher-Income Beneficiaries.
Are you within 3 months of turning age 65 or older and not ready to start your monthly Social Security benefits yet? You can use our online application to sign up just for Medicare and wait to apply for your retirement or spouses benefits later. It takes less than 10 minutes, and there are no forms to sign and usually no documentation is required.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) manages Medicare. After you are enrolled, they will send you a Welcome to Medicare packet in the mail with your Medicare card. You will also receive the Medicare & You handbook, with important information about your Medicare coverage choices.

Let's say you're in your vehicle and want to lower the window for some fresh air. Or a traffic ticket. Whatever the reason, you're startled when the window doesn't move. It's annoying when it won't go down and infuriating when it won't go up during rain or cold weather. This is a common problem, but there are some easy and affordable solutions. Let's examine the how and why of window regulator issues.
A window regulator is basically just a simple metal track bolted to the inside of the door. It takes the rotational movement of the window crank handle, or the movement of the window lift motor, and turns it into vertical movement of the window.
There are two main types of window regulators. Classic cars will have the parallelogram type, which in motion looks sort of like a pair of scissors. The crank gears rotate the angle of one regulator arm, triggering the pivot point and moving the other arm connected to the window track, which, in turn, moves the window up or down.
The modern electric regulator is a cable-driven system. The electric motor moves a cable through a pulley system, which raises or lowers the window, like a tiny drawbridge. While both systems are reliable, they have multiple parts that can wear out.
Manual windows are just about the simplest way to raise and lower the windows, short of the leather straps found on brass-era cars. This means they are solidly reliable, with few issues over the life of the vehicle. Still, problems pop up from time to time. Here's what to look for.
When you're cranking the window handle and the window doesn't roll up or down, either the crank gears are worn out or the regulator is off its track. Crank gears are sometimes made of plastic that can wear down from repeated use. 2ff7e9595c
